RHH and SNO revalidation webinars in 2016

Saturday, July 23, 2016

Revalidation is the new process that all nurses and midwives in the UK will need to follow to maintain their registration with the NMC.

Taking effect from April 2016, revalidation is straightforward and will help you as a nurse or midwife demonstrate that you practice safely and effectively. It will encourage you to reflect on the role of the Code in your practice and demonstrate that you are 'living' the standards set out within it.

This new process replaces the Prep requirements, and you will have to revalidate every three years to renew your registration.

This Webinar session will:

  • Explain why revalidation was introduced by the NMC;
  • Tell you what you need to do in order to revalidate;
  • Tell you what you can do right now to prepare; and
  • Give you an opportunity to ask questions.

Please register for one of the revalidation webinar's on your preferred date by clicking on the relevant registration link below. There are only 1,000 places per webinar and they will be given on a first come first serve basis.

What is a webinar?

For those of you who are unsure, ¿webinar¿ is short for Web-based seminar that is transmitted over the Web using video conferencing software. Attending this webinar does not require you to travel to a specific venue; you simply need a computer or android device such as a phone or tablet to join the live webinar.
